Apple Strudel with Mountain Flowers

  • 1 rotolo di pasta sfoglia 
  • 5 mele Golden o Renetta del Trentino
  • 2 cucchiai di marmellata di mele
  • 1 uovo
  • pangrattato q.b.
  • zucchero a velo q.b.
  • fiori di montagna secchi (calendula, camomilla

Mix diced apples with the jam and mountain flowers.
Roll out the puff pastry and cover with bread crumbs, spoon on the apple mixture.
Roll the pastry into strudel shape and seal the edges; brush with beaten egg. 
Bake for 40 min at 200°C in circulating oven. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve tepid.
