Associazione Tutela e Valorizzazione della Farina della Valsugana

The Association has retrieved an ancient varietal of corn grown in Valsugana, called “Spin Caldonazzo”, which makes possible the production of polenta, a typical Trentino food. The cultivation of polenta corn in Trentino finds roots is centuries old: dating back to the second half of the seventeenth century. The Spin maize is a species cultivated for the exclusive production of polenta flour, originating in Valsugana.

The flour, which has soft and unmistakable taste, is the product of skilled craftsmanship and small-scale production, always in perfect harmony and balance with the surrounding environment.
