The olive groves that produce the Garda Trentino extra virgin olive oil contain ancient trees that grow on the hills surrounding Riva del Garda, Arco, Nago, Torbole, Tenno and Dro. The olives are all hand-picked and taken to the oil mill. Oil extraction occurs at controlled temperature (30°C) and using mechanical equipment only, so as to preserve its quality.
The resulting oil is golden with greenish hues. To the palate it is fruity and tangy, with hints of almond and hay.
