Fuji

The world’s most cultivated variety

A touch of the Orient, the Fuji apple comes from Japan and today is the world’s most cultivated variety. In Trentino it arrived recently and immediately found a favourable habitat.

Colour: brilliant orangey red.

Special features: “round and firm”, with intense and vivacious colouring.

Shape: roundish and irregular.

Flesh: straw yellowish-white, crunchy and very juicy.

Taste: aromatic and pleasingly sweet.

Harvested: October - November.

Shelf life: from November to June-July.

Suggestions: ideal as a quick snack. Stores easily and for many days, even at room temperature.
