In 1975, Roberto and Andrea Zeni, after completing their studies, brought to fruition the idea of developing their father's wine-making activity, and thus founded two new companies: Azienda Agricola R. Zeni and Distilleria Zeni. The aim was to produce wines and grappas of quality, always and inevitably starting from the origin: for the wine, therefore, the vineyard was fundamental, while in the distillery, the still was a must in order to distil pomace. In other words, quality and not quantity.
Today, production has stabilised around 190,000 bottles obtained by processing grapes grown on 20 hectares. Innovations introduced in vineyard, cellar and distillery abound, thanks to the continuous modernisation of tools, as well as professional training.
