Cantina Sociale Trento covers an area of about 650 hectares, which includes a variety of different soils and climates. The multiplicity of terrains within the same productive context allows for the enhancement of the biodiversity of vineyards, which, in turn, gives wines distinct personalities, based upon the “cru” (vineyard or group of vineyards) from which they come.
Born in 1956 by the desire of 11 farmers, Cantina Sociale Trento features today a state-of-the-art facility located at the gates of the city of Trento and surrounded by vineyards. The technological equipment and the peculiarity of the facility, which complies with criteria of environmental eco-sustainability as far as materials and energy consumption, meet the requirements of production that is environmentally compatible and aimed to constantly improve quality.
