Maor

Maor is an ancient autochthonous white grape variety present in Val di Non and at the beginning of Val di Sole where at the end of the 19th century there was a production of about 3000 hl.

Known in the valley as the white Groppello, it is a pleasure for an authentic winemaker to have it revived so as not to forget our illustrious winemaking past, rediscovering flavors and aromas that will surprise you. Curious is that Maor in the Nones dialect means "first hay" and is, together with Biancaccia, the parent of Lagarino Bianco. It was registered in the national register of vine varieties in 2009. It is suitable for the production of fresh and sparkling white wines
